Another holiday company is investing in Cape Verde. TUI, who already have a strong base in the country are planning a new development on Boa Vista.
The plan is to build another all-inclusive resort, this time under the banner of Tui Magic Life. The development is to occupy a plot of land of some 10.8 hectares (26.7acres) at the Praia de Chaves beach. With 575 rooms, restaurants, bars, five swimming pools and a wellness suite it will be a significant development. Also included within the scheme will be a water park for children, tennis courts and archery.
When this resort opens, in time for the 2020-21 winter season, TUI will then have more six hotels in Cape Verde. Another new development is already underway on the island of Sal.
Tui have reported that they already have approximately 350,000 visitors travelling to Cape Verde annually. This proposed development will be the first Magic Life Club in the country. There are already similar developments in Italy, Greece, North Africa, Turkey and Spain.
Praia de Chaves is on the south west of the island close to Sal Rei and Rabil.
