Although some cruise lines call at Cape Verde, international travel is mostly by plane. There are four main airports in Cape Verde that operate with international flights. These are on the islands of Santiago, Sal, Boa Vista and São Vicente. The other islands are then reached using internal fights operated by TICV or ferry – see Domestic Travel.
Some visitors to Cape Verde will require a visitor’s visa. All visitors are now required to complete a Registration process. This is done online at the EASE website. The registration costs 3,400 CVE (30€) and is payable at the time of registering. This registration should be done at least 5 days before your arrival.
International flights have been suspended during the Covid-19 lockdown. It is understood that they will review the situation in August. Once recommenced, until full services are resumed some of the routes below may not be operating. [Updated 01 July 2020]
