It has been announced that TAP will resume Boa Vista flights next month (April). They have not flown between Lisbon and Boa Vista for two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the TAP website the flights to Boa Vista will initially be on Saturdays only. The chairman of TAP expected to carry about 250,000 passengers to Cape Verde this year.
It is understood that many tourism workers have left the island of Boa Vista in the last year. The lack of tourism on the island has been a big problem and it is good to hear that tourism is now increasing and that hotels are re-opening.
