Mountainous Santo Antão offers the visitor a complete contrast to some of the other Cape Verde islands. This is especially true for those who visit the popular tourist islands such as Sal and Boa Vista. Santo Antão has majestic scenery and offers attractive little villages and excellent hiking opportunities. It is an island not to be missed.
