Estrada da Corda is a mountain road on the island of Santo Antão, Cape Verde. It offers beautiful views of this lovely island. The road runs from the port at Porto Novo to the island’s capital Ribeira Grande. It passes through the village of Corda. Santo Antão is an island well suited for hikers and walkers. The mountain scenery is stunning. There are walks and hikes of varying difficulty. The island can only be reached by ferry, which leaves Mindelo on the neighbouring island of São Vicente and arrives into Porto Novo.
